The Supporting Students Coalition is a group of individuals, families, independent schools and their associations who seek support for all the students of Ontario led by TeachON, the Ontario Federation of Independent Schools, the Muslim Association of Canada – School Division, and Edvance.

TeachON is a grassroots non-profit organization working on behalf of Ontario Jewish day schools to advocate for Government funding for safe and affordable Jewish education.

Ontario Federation of Independent Schools

The Ontario Federation of Independent Schools (OFIS) is a non-profit organization working for independent schools and their families. Established in 1974, OFIS has been a prominent voice in support of parental choice in education and diversity in Ontario’s education landscape. OFIS represents faith-based, culturally-based, specific needs, special interest, and community K-12 schools across Ontario.

Muslim Association of Canada – School Division

The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) is the largest national grassroots charitable Islamic organization working to provide spiritually responsive programming to Canadian Muslims. Spread across Canada, the MAC Schools Division has 10 faith-based community schools providing full educational services to students in early learning programs through Grade 12 and 16 part-time schools serving over 10,000 students in all.

Edvance

Edvance Christian Schools Association is a non-profit industry association serving more than 82 independent Christian school affiliates located across Ontario and in Prince Edward Island. It offers services to school leaders, boards, educators, and administrators in four areas: leadership, learning, operations and management, and advocacy.
